A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION, PINAL AND MARICOPA COUNTIES,
ARIZONA, DECLARING AND ADOPTING THE RESULTS OF THE
GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON MAY 15, 2007.
WHEREAS, the City of Apache Junction, Pinal and Maricopa
Counties, Arizona, did hold a primary election on the 15th day of
May, 2007, for the election of one Councilmember; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. § 16-642(A), the election returns
have been presented to and have been canvassed by the City
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of
the City of Apache Junction, Pinal and Maricopa Counties, Arizona,
as follows:
SECTION 1.That the total number of valid ballots cast at
the general election as shown by the poll lists was 889.
SECTION 2.That the total number of ballots to be verified
was 1, and that of the 1 ballot to be verified the total number of
voters found to be ineligible were 1, leaving the total number of
ballots cast to be 889 as indicated in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3.That the votes cast for the candidates for
Councilmember were:

SECTION 4.There being one city council seat left to be
filled at the general election, it is hereby found determined and
declared of record, that the following one candidate did receive
the highest number of votes and shall be issued a certificate of
election.

SECTION 5.This resolution shall be in full force and effect
immediately upon its adoption.

JUNCTION, ARIZONA, THIS 5TH DAY OF JUNE ,2007.
