HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 07-38RESOLUTION NO. 07-38 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA, ACCEPTING DEDICATIONS OF LAND TO THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION INCLUDING PORTIONS OF FIVE PARCELS IDENTIFIED UNDER PINAL COUNTY ASSESSOR'S PARCEL NUMBERS 103-21-011B, 103 -21 -011A,103 -21-015E, 100-37-005K, AND 103-05-038A. WHEREAS, to further public improvement projects, the City must obtain certain sections of right-of-way along 20th Avenue, Vaquero Road, Desert View Drive, Belair Road, Fourth Avenue and Goldfield Road; and WHEREAS, each property owner (—property owner") of the property in question has agreed to dedicate to the City of Apache Junction (—City") the property legally described in the attached deeds; and WHEREAS, and the City desires to accept such dedication for public purposes; and WHEREAS, each property owner acknowledges that such property being dedicated is free of all liens or encumbrances, and as authorized by other interested parties of record holding any and all liens and encumbrances. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction, Arizona, that the City hereby accepts the dedication of land as evidenced by a appropriate documents executed by the Mayor, a copy of which shall be filed by the Public Works Department in the Recorder's Office of Pinal County.
