A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
O F APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,DECLARING A S A PUBLIC
RECORD THAT CERTAIN DOCUMENT FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK
AND ENTITLED "2017 AMENDMENTS T O THE APACHE JUNCTION
CITY CODE,VOLUME I,CHAPTER 15:PUBLIC PARK
REGULATIONS"; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS,Arizona Revised Statutes Annotated (hereinafter
"A.R.S.")§ 9-802 permits municipalities to enact the provisions
o f a code o r public record i n existence without setting forth
such provisions i n full text a s long a s the adopting ordinance
is published i n full text and one paper copy i s filed with the
city clerk and one electronic copy i s accessible o n the city's
website and are both therefore available for public use and
inspection;and
WHEREAS,pursuant t o A.R.S.§ §9-801(1)and 9-802,such
codes include public park provisions; and
WHEREAS,city staff has identified such provisions herein,
and it i s the intent of the city to declare such documents and
compilations a s public records,o n file i n the office o f the
city clerk.
NOW,THEREFORE,B E I T RESOLVED B Y THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I IN GENERAL
1. That certain document entitled "2017 Amendments t o the
Apache Junction City Code,Volume I,Chapter 15:Public
Park Regulations,"one electronic copy which is accessible
on the city's website (www.ajcity.net)and one paper copy
which is filed in the office of the city clerk,is hereby
declared to be a public record, shall be made available for
public use and inspection.
SECTION II DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
The immediate operation o f the provisions o f this ordinance i s
necessary for the immediate preservation o f the public peace,
health or safety,and that an emergency shall be in full force

and effect from and after its passage adoption and approval b y
the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction.
