A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,AMENDING THE
DEVELOPMENT FEE STUDY,LAND USE ASSUMPTIONS,AND
INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS PLAN.
WHEREAS, A.R.S. § 9-463.05 requires a city to adopt, in
conjunction with a development ordinance,a land use
assumption and infrastructure improvements plan (the
"study"); and
WHEREAS,the city hired the consultant firm of
TischlerBise to prepare the study and the mayor and city
council,on January 21,2014,held a public hearing on the
study and adopted it on March 4, 2014 by Resolution No.14-
06; and
WHEREAS, the city finds it necessary to amend the study
to incorporate Flatiron Park as a necessary public service
neighborhood park and recreational facility as more fully
defined under A.R.S. § 9-463.05 (T)(7)(g); and
WHEREAS, the city has met all public notice requirements
set forth in A.R.S. § 9-463.05.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA, AS FOLLOWS:
1) The study:Land Use Assumptions,Infrastructure
Improvement Plan and the Parks and Recreational
Facilities Improvement Plan Attached as Exhibit A, be
amended to include Flatiron Park as a necessary public
services facility.
