A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA, AUTHORIZING CITY TO ENTER
INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE ARIZONA CRIMINAL
JUSTICE COMMISSION FOR NATIONAL CRIMINAL HISTORY
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FUNDING FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018.
WHEREAS,the City of Apache Junction submitted a grant
application to the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission under the
National Criminal History Improvement Program in April 2018; and
WHEREAS,the City of Apache Junction has been awarded said
grant for $24,363 to transfer microfilm to digital media; and
WHEREAS,the City of Apache Junction commits $2,712 of in-
kind services; and
WHEREAS,the mayor or his designee must sign and execute
the grant agreement prior to receiving grant funds.
NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION ARIZONA, AS FOLLOWS:
1)The mayor and city council authorize the Mayor or his
designee to sign the grant agreement.
2)Staff shall take all actions necessary to execute said
grant agreement.
