HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 19-10 RESOLUTION NO. 19-10 A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA, DECLARING AS A PUBLIC RECORD AND ADOPTING CERTAIN DOCUMENTS FILED WITH THE CITY CLERK ENTITLED "CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020"; "CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION CIVILIAN COMPENSATION PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020"; "CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION RECRUIT AND SWORN COMPENSATION PLAN FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019-2020"; AND "CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION FLAT AND HOURLY SALARY SCHEDULE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019- 2020"; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, the most recent Classification and Compensation Plana were adopted on May 14, 2018, as amendments to the Fiscal Year 2018- 2019 Classification and Compensation Plana for all classified employees of the City of Apache Junction; and WHEREAS, adoption of a Classification Plan and a Compensation Plan retains these plans as part of the budget for Fiscal Year 2019-2020; and WHEREAS, on May 20, 2019, the Mayor and City Council adopted the tentative budget for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 and on June 17, 2019, will adopt the final budget for Fiscal Year 2019-2020, establishing funding for and the positions as set forth in the Classification Plan for Fiscal Year 2019-2020, the Civilian Compensation Plana for Fiscal Year 2019-2020, the Recruit and Sworn Compensation Plan for Fiscal Year 2019-2020 and the Flat and Hourly Salary Schedule for Fiscal Year 2019-2020. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Apache Junction, Arizona as follows : SECTION I DECLARING A PUBLIC RECORD The documents entitled "City of Apache Junction Classification Plan for Fiscal Year 2019-2020" (Exhibit A) , "City of Apache Junction Civilian Compensation Plan for Fiscal Year 2019-2020" (Exhibit B) , "City of Apache Junction Recruit and Sworn Compensation Plana for Fiscal Year 2019-2020" (Exhibit Cy and "City of Apache Junction Flat and Hourly Salary Schedule for Fiscal Year 2019-2020" (Exhibit D) , three copies of each which are on file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Apache Junction, Arizona, are hereby declared to be public records; and the copies shall remain on file with the City Clerk' s office and shall be available for public examination and reproduction upon request. Resolut-ion No. 19-10 Page I of SECTION II ADOPTION OF PLANS The documents entitled "City of Apache Junction Classification Plan for Fiscal Year 2019-2020", "City of Apache Junction Civilian Compensation Plan for Fiscal Year 2019-2020", "City of Apache Junction Recruit and Sworn Compensation Plan for Fiscal Year 2019- 2020" and "City of Apache Junction Flat and Hourly Salary Schedule for Fiscal Year 2019-2020" are hereby adopted, referred to, and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this resolution® SECTION III DECLARING AN EMERGENCY The immediate operation of the provision of this resolution is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health or safety, and that an emergency is hereby declared to exist; and this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, adoption and approval by the mayor and city council of the City of Apache Junction, APPROVED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA, THIS DAY OF 117 2019® SIGNED AND ATTESTED TO THIS DAY OF 2019.
