A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE crry OF'
AP ACHE JUNCTION, RI ND, DESIGNATING THE CHIEF' FISCAL
OFFICER FOR OFFICIALLY SUBMITTING AND CERTTFYT NG THE
ACCURACY OF THE FISCAL YEAR 2021 EXPENDITURE LIMITATION
REPORT TO '11HE ARIZONA AUDITOR GENERAL.
WHEREAS, A.R. S. § 41-i279. 07 (E) requires political
subdivisions on an annual as to provide to the auditor
general by July 31 the name of the chief fiscal officer
designated to officially submit and who shal"I certify the
accuracy of the current fiscal year' s annual expenditul-e
limitation report ("AELR,") ; and
WHEREAS, the City of Apache Junction' s mayo.r and coun---�..-!
desires to designate Finance Director Leslie DeReche as its
chief fiscal officer; and
WHEREAS, political subdivisions are required to submilk- an
updated form and documentation for any changes in the formal
designation.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIIL OF
THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1 . The recitals above are incorporated as if fully set
forth herein.
SECTION 2 . Finance Director LeslLe DeReche iis riesignated as t-he
chief fiscal officer for purposes of submitting and certifying
the city' s fiscal year 2021 AELR to the Arizona Auditor
General' s Office.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
AP ACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA, THIS DAY OF 2021 .
