RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF A 'AC HE JUNCTION, ARIZO A: ADOPTING THE STATEMENTS AND
ESTIMATES S OF EXPENSES OF THE A 'ACE E3 JUNCTION STREET
ET
LIGHTING IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS, WHICH SHALL CONSTITUTE
THE BUDGETS OF THE DISTRICTS CTS FOR FISCAL: YEAR 2024-2025
PURSUANT TO A.R.S. § 48-616 AND § 42-1 r 101 Et ;
WHEREAS, the provisions of A.R.S. § 48-616 requirethe
governing body to levy taxes upon all property in municipal street
lighting improvement districts ("Districts") to pay the annual
expenses of said Districts; and
WHEREAS, the governing body of the municipality shall rake
annual statements and estimates of the expenses of the Districts,
which shall be provided for by the leery and collection " of ad
valorem taxes upon the assessed value of all the real and personal
property in the Districts; and
WHEREAS, the mayor and council desire to adopt Fiscal Year
024 2025 final budget for the Districts .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA, AS FOLLOWS:
1) The Statement and Estimates of Expenses of the City of Apache
Junction Street Lighting Improvement € i.stricts for Fiscal
Year 20 4-2C1 5, attached hereto and incorporated herein as
Exhibit "A"', is hereby adopted.
The Statement and Estimates of Expenses of the City of Apache
Junction Street Lighting Improvement Districts is sufficient
to curer the purchase of energy.
S} The city clerk and city finance director are each directed to
provide copies of this resolution and such other documents as
may be necessary to cause Pinal County to levy, assess and
collect the amounts described herein from act valorem property
taxes
4) The adopted estimates shall constitute the budgets of the
Apache Junction Street Lighting Improvement i tricts for
Fiscal Year 2024-225 s
