SPECIAL MEETING
APRIL 29,1981
The special meeting of the City Council of the City of Apache Junction,Arizona,
was held on April 29,1981 at the Apache Junction Council Chambers,pursuant tonoticerequiredbylaw.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Seeman called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
IN
Councilman Eidson led the invocation.

The Council and public participated in the Pledge of Allegiance.

TENTATIVE ADOPTION OF FY 81-82 BUDGET
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ARIZONA REVISED STATUTES )
) Mayor Seeman stated that pursuant
to State law,the special meeting was called to adopt a tentative budget for the City
of Apache Junction for F.Y.1981-82.She reminded the public the proposed budget would
be published in the local newspaper for two weeks.
Vice Mayor Granillo suggestedtaking$12,000 from City Manager Contingency and placing i t in Non -Departmental,
which he stated would make the funds available for any emergency in any department.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE
JUNCTION,ARIZONA,THAT RESOLUTION 81-04,A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA,FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE TENTATIVE BUDGET FOR THE
CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA,FOR FISCAL YEAR 1981-82;HEREWITH SETTING FORTH THE
TENTATIVE ESTIMATES OF MONIES NECESSARY FOR THE PUBLIC EXPENSES FOR THE CITY OF
APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA,FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-82,THE RECEIPTS AND EXPENDITURES,
AND THE AMOUNTS COLLECTIBLE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1981-82;AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE
TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING TAXPAYERS FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE FINAL BUDGET BE AND
VOTE:Unanimous
The motion carried.
There being no further business,Mayor Seeman adjourned the meeting at 6:15 p.m.

CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION.
