SPECIAL MEETING
OCTOBER 31,1983
The special meeting of the City Council of the City of Apache Junction,
Arizona,was held on October 31,1983, at the Apache Junction City Council
Chambers,pursuant to the notice required by law.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Clarke called the meeting at 6:47 p.m.

PROPOSED RESOLUTION NO.83-61,
SL -8304-1,IRONWOOD MANOR
UNIT I (Lots 1-18)
)Director of Public Works Richard Bromanexplainedthatthisresolutionfollowsthesequencerequesting Pinal County to
assess property owners for the Street Lighting Improvement District (SL -8304-1),
which the County requires in order to collect the assessments,and this is an
emergency action to place this on the 1984 tax rolls.
Councilman Damiano asked why this action
was being taken at such a late date.
Mr.Broman stated that i t had been an
oversight on his own part.
Mayor Clarke informed the Council that
Mr.Broman had made an apology that he had forgotten this issue.
Mr.Broman stated that the Council haspreviouslyapprovedthreestreetlightimprovementdistricts.
Councilman Damiano MOVED THAT BE IT
RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZONA,
THAT RESOLUTION NO.83-61,A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,PINAL COUNTY,ARIZONA,RELATING TO TAXATION,LEVYING
UPON THE ASSESSED VALUATION OF THE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,
SUBJECT TO TAXATION,AND WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL STREET LIGHTING IMPROVEMENT
The motion carried.

RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION,ARIZONA,
THAT THE MEETING BE ADJOURNED AT 6:55 P.M.
Councilman Hill seconded the motion.
VOTE:Unanimous
The motion carried.
