Mayor Wilson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

1. 22-247 Discussion and consideration for approval of Resolution No. 22-12, fully
adopting estimates of expenditures by the City of Apache Junction for the
fiscal year beginning July 1, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023; declaring
establishment of the budget for the City of Apache Junction for Fiscal Year
2022-2023; and declaring an emergency.

Councilmember Evans moved,seconded by Vice Mayor Rizzi that Resolution No.22-12.fully
adopting the estimates of expenditures by the City of Apache Junction for the fiscal year
beginning July 1,2022 and ending June 30,2023;declaring establishment of the budget for the
City of Apache Junction for Fiscal Year 2022-2023;and declaring an emergency.

Finance Director Leslie DeReche provided an update and overview of the FY2023 budget and
responded to questions from council.
Mayor opened the public hearing, receiving no comments, he closed the public hearing.
